Princess · 1.00 ct minimum · fancy pink · $600 per carat
Roughly 6.6 × 6.4 mm face up — the measurement a setter works from.
360° footage of a stone of this cut. Shown in white — a fancy color stone is cut identically. Yours is allocated at dispatch and will meet or beat the specification below.
Princess cut
A square brilliant that keeps most of the rough.
Because a princess is cut from a shape close to the natural crystal, far less material is lost — and the saving shows in the price. The corners are the vulnerable part; they sit protected in most settings.
Size
1.00 ct minimumThe size you choose is the floor. Stones ship at that weight or up to 10% over — 1.00 to 1.10 ct — and never under.
Body color
$600 / ctEven pink, graded fancy or better. White diamonds are $510 a carat; fancy colors are $600.

What we guarantee
- Size
- At least 1.00 ct. Up to 1.10 ct. Never less.
- Clarity
- VS1 or better. Often better.
- Color
- Fancy pink or better.
- Cut
- The cut you chose, graded Excellent or above.

We move enough volume that we will not pretend to know which stone in the parcel becomes yours. What we will do is put a floor under every part of it and let the variance run in your favor — the weight, the clarity and the color can come in above what you paid for, and regularly do.
For example
You order 1.00 ct · VS1 · Fancy pink.
You might receive 1.10 ct · VVS1 · Fancy pink.
Same price either way.
What VS1 and fancy actually mean
- VS1
- Very slightly included. Minor inclusions, hard to locate even under a loupe.
- Fancy pink
- Fancy color grades describe hue, tone and saturation rather than the absence of color. Even pink, graded fancy or better. Anything graded below fancy does not leave the workshop.

Buying a princess
Because a princess is cut from a shape close to the natural crystal, far less material is lost — and the saving shows in the price. The corners are the vulnerable part; they sit protected in most settings.
Proportion to expect: 1.00–1.05. Beyond that it stops reading as square. We cut to the middle of that range, so a princess from us looks like the shape you pictured rather than a stretched version of it.
Every princess is laboratory grown, graded by IGI or GIA, and shipped with its report. If the stone that arrives is not the one you want, request a return authorization within 30 days.
