Shipping and returns
Insured both ways, and a return policy written in plain sentences.

Transit time starts when the stone clears final inspection, which adds a business day for stock and about two weeks for anything grown to order. Every shipment is insured for its full value and requires a signature — we cannot authorize a doorstep drop, and we will not mark a parcel as anything other than what it is.
What arrives
- The stone, in a sealed parcel, at or above the specification you ordered.
- Its IGI or GIA grading report, matching the stone by report number and laser inscription.
- A packing note showing the actual carat weight, clarity and color of the stone allocated to you — which is frequently better than the floor you paid for, and never worse.
Returns
You have 30 days from delivery. If the stone is not for you, the process is four steps and no argument.
- 01Request an authorizationEmail us with your order reference. Returns must carry a return authorization number — a parcel sent back without one cannot be matched to your order or insured in transit.
- 02We send the labelWe email a prepaid, insured shipping label the same business day. Do not use your own carrier: an uninsured stone in the mail is your risk, not ours.
- 03Send the stone and its reportThe grading report goes back with the stone, and both must be in the condition they arrived. A stone that has been set, re-cut, re-polished or re-inscribed is no longer the stone we sold.
- 04We verify, then refund in fullOnce the parcel is back and the stone has been checked against its report, we refund the full purchase price. The cost of the return label is deducted from that refund. There is no restocking fee and no handling charge.
In short: shipping back is the only cost you carry. Everything you paid for the stone comes back to you.
Verification
Every return is weighed, measured, and read under magnification against the report number laser-inscribed on its girdle. It takes one to three business days from arrival. We will tell you the moment it clears, and the refund goes back to the original payment method — most cards show it within five business days after that.
Where it does not apply
- A stone returned without its grading report, or with a report that does not match it.
- A stone that has been mounted, altered, damaged or re-certified.
- A return posted after the 30-day window, or sent without a return authorization.
Anything else — you changed your mind, it looked different in daylight, the proposal did not go to plan — is covered. hello@houseofdiamora.com
